So much excitment, not boring, things are cheap but lots of high quality dining places, lots of resorts, shopping, entertainment. You name it!!

Don't think so. You see so many western people there from US, Europe, Australia etc. No problems at all plus very easy to get around Bangkok by taxi, MTR and monorail! Dirt cheap too!
