Shanghai has always been my favorite place to visit. Although expansive compare with SZ or DG, the quality usually are better. However, a few years ago, one of my friend was caught in a raid and was held in jail for 2 weeks. That made me nervous everytime i visit the places. I find the expansive places are usually more secure, the owners are usually connected to the GA.
last week i visited a place call Hai Bi Yuan, not bad at all. newly opened, but owned by a big chain, quiet and very courteous. worth a try! a bit expansive though.

Same as Ya Tao Yuan. Expansive but good quality la. Since the business is not good. All the attendants treat you like king...........
