Only the begining of Group B.
Group B can avoid the dillution problem of 1 man 1 lot, which affect
the applicants in Group A only.
One cannot accurately predict if group A or Group is more advantageous in a particular IPO. Statistically, when I picked group A, group B got more allocation even in terms of percentage and when I picked group B, in one rare occasion, top of group A got a higher allocation in terms of # of shares than me. But statistically, group A gets a better allocation % than group B but in absolute terms, group B gets higher allocation. So if you have unlimited funding, always go to group B.
I have given up in guessing. I use whatever money I have, divided it over the number of IPOs at any one time, and divided into two accounts that I have. If it ends up in Group A or Group B, so be it.
And it works much better for me.
