The Black is just because you are typing too fast
The Red,just cross out "er"
"er" is required when comparing.

That's right!!
You help me a lot!!
Thx again!!
Dammit! I miss the "then" part...

According to 中山's point of view, he ranks all of anchors based on their talent and strength!! Do you think that Wendy's talent is weaker than Jenny?? Connie's talent is better than Wendy?? If you think that is true, I will accept your point of view!!

I know that!!
But sometimes I may used it incorrectly!!
By the way, you don't need to put an exclamation mark after each sentence.

But Basicially,
The word"less" itself is a comparing word
We call it a "comparative" word
Just like we say 紫盈 is More beautiful than someone
we never and we can't say 紫盈 is Moreer beautiful  ...
More is not a verb...

But Basicially,
The word"less" itself is a comparing word
We call it a "comparative" word in a professional way
Just like we say 紫盈 is More beautiful than someone
we never and we can't say 紫盈 ...
Come on now... "X is more weak than Y" is not technically correct, the proper way is "X is weaker than Y"

An important  rule that you must remind;
If the word includes more than three or more syllables, just like beau-ti-ful, im-por-tant
we must add "more " or "less" before the word
And we would't ad ...
An important thing you need to remember:

We are talking about Richard's post:

According to 中山's point of view, he ranks all of anchors based on their talent and strength!! Do you think that Wendy's talent is weaker than Jenny?? Connie's talent is better than Wendy?? If you think that is true, I will accept your point of view!!

The Black is just because you are typing too fast
The Red,just cross out "er"
The Red = less.

The word we are discussing about is "less" not "beautiful"

Less is a one syllable word, it does not contain three syllables, so the proper way is "lesser" mot "more less".

容許我用中文打

"LESS"本身係一個"比較式"既詞語
佢唔會亦都唔可以+ er
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/Lesser

If "less" is a "比較式"既詞語, then "big" has to be also a "比較式"既詞語. If "比較式"既詞語 can't + er then the word "bigger" should not exist.

其實原句係咩?
The question he was asking:

Is there a word in the whole universe that called "lesser"?

i Know
But is it "lesser than " instead of "Less than" when we making comparaion
Yes. No doubt about it.

You are right, too.

There is indeed a word "lesser," but we mustn't put "than" after it, since it is not the comparative form of "less."
nonononononono.......We can't say "X is bigger Y", it has to be "X is bigger than Y"

Anyway, Richard used the wrong word, it should be "weak" not "less"

"Do you think that Wendy's talent is lesser then Jenny?"
We should rewrite it as:
Do you think that Wendy is less talented than Jenny?
Less is not the appropriate word for that situation anyway, I would rewrite it as:

Do you think that Wendy's talent is weaker than Jenny?

Frankly, we should say "X is bigger than Y", but "less" is itself the comparative form of the adjective "little," thus we should say "X is less than Y" instead of "X is lesser than Y."

There is s ...
nonononononono.......I can guarantee "X is lesser than Y." is more widely use than "X is less than Y", no matter it's orally or essay paper.
