I call it naive if they think it can change the image of accountant.  I prefer they spend more on charity.

It is not a matter of humor but whether the money is well spend.  My friend in ad firm estimated/monitored HKICPA's ad spending and the estimate the total spend for one year is about 3 to 5m (think of the ad they posted in Newspaper and Bus Stop, they are expensive.).  I prefer this money to go to charity or some activities that add value to the society (e.g. The Arcitect History of HK Roadshow organized by Arcitect Society), create a more positive image.  Fresh graduates are smart enough not to confuse such ad with reality.

I want to post this letter too.  HKICPA wasted the money, than raise he fee!  For what!?
