If you're hifi lover, forget NAS as music player!
If you just want to listen music file, go for NAS may be your own choice.
I've just come across someone play file in Mainland China from notebook, sound is poor enough.
But they enjoy so much

CAS , networkplayer is very good music fans ............b'cos we like the music itself more than sound from which player(s) ...
but ..............most Hifi/ sound effect fans ............they care more on sound and which players for playback more than
music ...................
