It's not excellent but still very good especially considering English is not very good her first language.

但文采矮過我!!

I think she has done very well !
Because translation is not her main responsibility!!
But she can translate the statement instantly!!
Some statements have been omitted are unavoidable!!
Because that is a live programme!!
As long as she can let audiences get the accurate messages in the Nobel Award ceremony!!
I appreciate her working attitude!!

但啱啱升左唔升住!!

As I said, Jenny is far way from being a native speaker but she is very good considering her background.

I also think that she is a suitable candiate for reporting the live broadcasting in the Nobel Award ceremony and as a translator among Ida, Venus and her!! Because I think that Jenny is good in English! She can do the job well!! Therefore, I think that Mr Yeung has choosen the right anchor!! That is the truth!!

Who knows? I guess we could assume that Jenny is best in English among all the anchors in channel 83.

Connie may be fine in English too considering she has handled well in few episodes of "時事百科" that required some specific English terminologies.

Why do you think Diamond is better than Jenny while she is speaking in English??
I think they are both good when speaking in English!

I am not trying to be dubious of Connie's English standard, but the mere fact that she can handle a few specific English terminologies like "quantative easing" doesn't mean that she is good in English ...

See, of course words or two can't define the English level for a person but it does imply something, "Quantitative easing" is not an easy phrase to pronounce especially for people who doesn't speak English much. Channel 83 has to decide someone to do this episode and pronounce it, Connie was given the chance so we could see the faith and confidence from TVB to Connie's English.
