It's at Hang Hou in Tseung Kwan O, called Lardos.

Christmas Eve I will be at Intercon Bangkok.  I'll probably have Dong Yam Gong for a Christmas Eve Dinner for a change.

Thanks. I read though the comments on net, found that the restaurant was famous for its steak! It seems that the other dishes were just so so. You don't eat beef, why go there?

By the way, my friend just went to Lawry's at Lee Garden. She said the steak was excellent, especially those from Australia. but she spent around $1K for the dinner. I might need to save up some money and go try it. Hehe..

Bangkok is good place for vacation. For once I had crab & tung yum kong at the river side. So delicious and romantic!

Other dishes are good to.  I always ordered lamb chop/rack, pork rib, ..  and I also go to their deli at the back to buy bread, cheese, leg ham....  Their Mon-Fri set lunch is great value @ $65 and on weekends, if I don't want to travel far, I'll drive and eat there since parking is easy during daytime.  

If I save up $1K, I'd go to Caprice, every time.  There's no better place in HK.

Restaurant at the river side, are you referring to Mandarin Oriental?  And do you have other recommendations in BKK?

Gym is good. I prefer hiking, get some fresh air and sunshine. Makes one look younger and happier!

Its a nice place for drink, but food is just average. A bit windy coz its the 2nd highest rooftop restaurant in Bangkok, on the 63rd floor. See the link above, very nice night view. Call to make reservations in advance, it is always fully booked.

Caprice is really good, not just the food...  The service is perfect - not over not under service.  The ingredients are impeccable.

We had 1) warm foie gras and 2) frogs legs for appetizers and 1) duck breast and 2) pigeon for mains.  

Sirocco in BKK - we went there once for lunch.  They were not cheap.  Even when THB was 20% below today's level, the lunch cost eqv. HK$1,700 for 4 persons and we were not big eaters.

I always find excuses to eat, literally everyday..  Today, i wanted to test drive my car after service, I went to Sai Kung.  What's a good excuse for tomorrow??????

Actually, I am planning Caprice for tomorrow.

During autumn, I go there at least 4 times a month.  I last went there last week.  I know all the corners, the speed hump, the hazardous parts, ....    I need to take you guys there one day otherwsie, it's not easy to find and you have to avoid oncoming traffic.  I took Kenzo and Tailawyau there one night.  Maybe I can take you and Kenzo to Marina one of these days.

I like this place very much especially during lunch, in autumn, when you can sit outside in the deck, with nice view and sea breeze...  very comfortable and friendly enviornment.  The food is not bad for the price.

By the way, Kenzo and I went to Lardo's today for lunch.

We skipped dessert as we were too full already.  Frog legs taste good.  It's a delicacy.  Do you eat snakes?  

BTW, I tried the Hazelnut chocolate mousse cake at Prestigio yesterday and it was really good.  Not too rich nor sweet.  Did you have it last time?

Please also note that Marina usually closes on Tuesday, unless it's a public holiday when it will close the next day (Wed).

Also, as a note of reminder, this place is a private club although we public can dine there.  There are certain house rules, one of which is, No Photographing.  There were complaints from celebrities of Paparazzi trying to film them so the board said no photographing there.  I did take photos when I went with overseas guests because the manager knew I was not a paparazzi.  I think we should all respect their rules.

I saw Sam Hui a couple of times, Ma Tak Chung, ..... and a couple of TVB actresses lunching there.

Caprice = Four Seasons Hotel, right? Must try then. Set-lunch is better value, right?

I never had lunch there but thought it was around $500.  Better value?  probably but not by much.

Sorry no frog, snakes, lizard, rat, dog, cat, turtoise....

I didn't try the cake last time. I may go there for drink and cake next time after hiking at Sai Kung.
I remembered they had a fridge full of homemade dessert...very attractive.

I don't think you can but you can leave the dog in the car and you can watch the dog from the restaurant.  Let me ask them next time if they would allow dogs outside.

Set lunch is $90 during weekdays - soup + choice of (uisually) meat/pasta/fish + dessert + tea/coffee.  Quality is very good for the price.  They have a wide range of a la carte but I usually have the salad or curry.

The price is acceptable for a set lunch w/ mains + dessert + drink.  
I can only go on weekends, but on sat or sun. We can only sit outside? Do they offer seats indoor?

There's air-conditioned in-door seatings, equally as comfortable.  But in this weather, I will always sit outside.
