要接受患者,多些關心、多些聆聽、細心觀察患者的情緒和行為。
Offer emotional support, which involves understanding, patience, affection, and encouragement. Observe the depressed person’s emotions and behaviors with care.

體諒患者並鼓勵患者要忍耐。當接受適當的專業治療後,情G便會慢慢好轉。
Keep reassuring the depressed person that, with time and help, he or she will feel better.

應多關懷及陪伴患者,可邀請患者一同散步、到郊外走走或看電影等活動分散其注意力。如遇患者拒絕,可適當地重覆邀請。
The depressed person needs diversion and company. Invite the depressed person for walks, outings, to the movies, and other activities. Be gently insistent if your invitation is refused.

鼓勵和陪同患者參加一些曾經令他/她感到愉快的活動,但切忌操之過急。
Encourage participation in some activities that once gave pleasure but do not push the depressed person to undertake too much too soon.


提醒患者依從專業治療,幫助控制病情。
Remind compliance with professional treatment as appropriate.

切勿忽視有關自殺的話語或行為,有p尋常的表現應立即轉告醫生或其他專業人士。
Be sensitive to remarks about suicide, for example expression of suicidal thoughts, or giving away valuable things. Seek professional advice as appropriate.

訂立切合現實的目標,因應自己的能力,把大型的工作分拆完成。別背負太多責任。
Set realistic goals in light of the depression, break large task into smaller ones, and assume a reasonable amount of responsibility.

避免突如其來的改變,要作重大決定前,例如轉變工作、搬屋等,應先諮詢一些熟悉你的人,最好能把轉變推遲至抑鬱情緒遠離的時候。Postpone important decisions until the depression is over, or discuss it with others who know you well and have an objective view of your situation.

尋求專業協助並依從專業治療,減少復發機會。
