My company (US) use DELL & IBM over 5 years. If I buy a notebook, will choose DELL
as well, why? Below 7K can buy a coreduo, which brand can offer? When u buy it for 3 years, just replace another one, no need to repair la. Also, from my company's
experience, DELL is better than IBM, IBM always with screen, USB, mother board problem. But DELL without this, one is 11k but other just 7k, which one is better?
except the weight of DELL, it is over 2.4kg but IBM should less than 2kg (some models)

I used 2 IBMs & 2 DELLs notebook B4, only IBM with problems (USB, Motherboard, sound card), however, DELL are problemfree.
The only reason to let my company to buy a new PC is the CPU speed or the repair charge is unreasonable. Shuch as IBM need to pay 2K to repair the screen problem.

If u got 1M in your pocket, it is no need to consider which brand u prefer. Just as your servant to buy. If I only got 20K, I will choose the cheapest but with same performance. The main point is "no need to repair"

Don't know why the price difference. May be due to the taxes policy between US & China. Most of the component came from China, SE asia countires etc.

Also, does any one know where is the components came from such as Fujisu, since it is a "Japan" make PC!!
