It's up to you if you don't mind being a little cramped - the venue is for 14 but can stretch to the limit of 16.

It looks like 30th as pretty colleague is not in town on Jan 25.

I am going to GZ tonight and will finalize that next Monday.

I have picked the date to accommodate everybody - Jan 30 Wednesday.  

Brother 可愛老頑童, feel free to invite your friend.

Mirepoix asked me to pick the menu and below was my earlier picks based on suggestions to hand.    If I do not hear anything to the contrary, I will submit next week.  We need to finalize the heads too, probably by Jan 22, so no drop outs can be had after that date, or we need to find a replacement.

Filet of beef

Alternatively, you can buy or take from your stock on my behalf a single bottle of Beaucastel.  I'll reimburse you or we can do a barter deal.

I'll get another bottle for my friend.

2a. Prawn bisque - $100
2b. Pan fried Foie Gras, apple brunois, Balsamic Reduction - $150

3a. Roasted black cod, Spanish Chorizo, prawn veloute - $290
3b. Char-grilled 250 days Grain Fed Filet of Beef - $360

4a. Crème Brulee - $60
4b. Chocolate mousse cake - $60

You can pick at the restaurant but I guess if one has already made up his/her mind, I would encourage them to pick earlier.  This will make life esier for them and avoid wastage of food.  But this is entirely up to you.

No, I don't think you can finish all the stuff.  You are meant to pick one from each category, or you will be having 2 each of starter, secondi, main, & dessert.  Do you mean between the two of you, you have one each?

eg. my pick would be -

1b, 2b, 3a & 4a.

I didn't do much.  The food (Cod fish) turned out to be less delicious than it was under the old format.  Anyway, it was a great night out.

Now look forward to the foie gras bun at Yung Kee.

It's called 鵝肝卷。  It's looks like a 臘腸卷 in shape.

Yung Kee 3-14 has been fully booked for a banquet.

I have tentatively booked 3-7 (Fri) but if it's 太密，maybe we shall change it to 3-28 (Fri).

I was thinking 太密 for my wallet and my liver.  It now seems that Oncologist does not express a concern, I think I wouldn't have to worry about the liver part.
