yes ar... it's a common practise here.  the employer kept a certain amount of your salary each month and is responsible to pay the tax to the government on the employees' behalf.

My friend moved his office to Macau and got a 10-year tax holiday for the company, and, as I recall, was extended to the employees..

Sorry.  Not meant to be.  However, this may be too good to be true.

Nonethelss, it will end up with the same result for the employees.  The boss will look at this as a "bonus" for the employees and end up paying them a little less in salary.
