It's up to you if you don't mind being a little cramped - the venue is for 14 but can stretch to the limit of 16.

It looks like 30th as pretty colleague is not in town on Jan 25.

I am going to GZ tonight and will finalize that next Monday.

THANKS but No la,  space is streched, plus 15 to share one bottle of each wine, may be too much already.

no worry, I strongly believe that there will be drop out in the last minute

Mirepoix asked me to pick the menu and below was my earlier picks based on suggestions to hand.    If I do not hear anything to the contrary, I will submit next week.  We need to finalize the heads too, probably by Jan 22, so no drop outs can be had after that date, or we need to find a replacement.

In keeping with my own above suggestion ~ 等每人可以飲多過一啖 ~

For the upcoming wine dinner gathering, I am switching to bringing a PAIR of :
(instead of my previously said bottles)

1994 Ch. de Beaucastel - Chateauneuf du Pape (RP 90)

可愛老頑童's suggestion is very constuctive, actually I can offer a pair of Domain Beaurenard CDP 2001 instead of the single bottle of Beaucastel, it's less famous but seems still a solid wine (RP89-91, WS94), just see your perference.

The flip side is that we will end up with too many bottles.  Should we organize to have people bringing two bottles in one gathering and skip at the next gathering.....

Anyone bringing a Wendouree this time?????

That's a good idea too !

Me and Mrs. are 2 persons, that's why we are bringing a PAIR.   

OR also ~ IF possible ~ 2 Bros &/or Siss can co-odinate to EACH BRING 1 BOTTLE of the SAME WINE.

Alternatively, you can buy or take from your stock on my behalf a single bottle of Beaucastel.  I'll reimburse you or we can do a barter deal.

I'll get another bottle for my friend.

I have only one Beaucastel 98, you can try to buy another one to make it a pair la, I think it's less complicated.
