Few weeks ago went to the range and have a chance to shoot and compare side by side about the performance of the following four 9mm pistols. Glock 17, SIG P226, with my friend's SIG P228 and CZ75.
Feeling of felt recoil is:
CZ75 > SIG P228 > SIG P226 > Glock 17
Feeling of muzzle flip (muzzle climb) is:
SIG P228 > SIG P226 > CZ75 > Glock 17
No wonder had heard from many firearms instructors said Glock pistol is the most easiest gun to shoot.

This is a very common problem to Browning HP shooters which has a big and thick mussle hand, getting *hammer-bite* during the recoil. That's why many people modified the hook type hammer, or change it to a round one.

I guess it must be the sear and hammer connecting worn out, so the hammer follow when the shooter cock the gun.
